CoyJen Performance was originally founded and named MidnightXpressions by Nickalas Jensen in 1999. As a child, Nick spent his days watching his father rebuild classic cars. It was during this time that Nick learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Nick graduated high school he decided to enter into training for imports, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile engines. Although Nick was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. His father used to repair and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Nick never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his father would deliver a restored vehicle to someone who couldn't afford a new one. Nick was determined to honor his father by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.

Nick opened MidnightXpressions in 1998 in a small garage on the outskirts of Marne Iowa. Word of great deals and outstanding service quickly spread throughout the region. MidnightXpressions soon ran out of room for its growing inventory and had to find a larger facility that would allow it to continue growing.

It was the summer of 2008 when MidnightXpressions opened the doors of its larger facility in the heart of downtown Atlantic Iowa. The new facility boasts room for servicing up to eight vehicles. No need to run all over town to find the right performance parts for most import vehicles. 

In the summer of 2008 after opening its doors, in the new facility, Nick was approached by Tom Coyle with an interest and desire to join forces in creating a one stop shop for all import needs. After many conversations and decisions, Nick and Tom came to an agreement. With Tom's background of being an ASE certified tech, Mequires detail trained, and numerous other certificates. Tom would be bringing an element that Nick knew would be needed in order to handle growth. In the early fall of 2008 CoyJen Performance LLC. was founded, and on the same principles as MidnightXpressions, will continue to treat each and every customer as a family member or friend to insure that every customer will leave with the feeling that they have been treated fairly and with respect.

We enjoy the good looks of any car but found that imports are especially good-looking, since you can virtually modify every aspect of them! From the interiors, to the exteriors, and engines, it is possible to pull large amounts of horse power and still be able to conserve our budget while maintaining decent fuel mileage! We, like many others, were into the cruising/ drag scene (Our current project cars are; a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX Spyder, 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS, 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GST,And a Galant VR4) and found that while many individuals had very nice cars modified in many ways that there was a missing link. That link was being able to locate the many different parts that the import scene had to offer. We began searching and locating the information for many of the top suppliers. Now that we have located that information we want to be able to offer all our import enthusiasts out there the best deal we can offer! Our site is constantly updating with new suppliers and each month we will offer "specials" just for YOU!
